Short and clear, the way we like them too.

1. What we offer

The static QR code generator and scanner are free, require no account and run in your browser. Dynamic QR codes (with a redirect hosted by us) are free and require an account created by email.

2. What is forbidden

Using dynamic codes for phishing, malware, scams or illegal content is forbidden. Every destination is checked automatically by a security scanner; we suspend without notice any account that abuses the service.

3. Common-sense limits

A free account includes up to 10 dynamic codes and 10 destination changes per day. The limits may be adjusted; their only purpose is preventing abuse.

4. No lock-in

The portability kit (available at any time from your account) exports all your redirects in standard formats, so you can leave whenever you want with your printed codes still working.

5. Personal data

For an account we store only the email address. Scan statistics are aggregated (day, country, device type) — no IP addresses, no individual identifiers. Contact and deletion: contact@exyqr.ro.

6. Reporting abuse

Scanned a code hosted by us that leads somewhere suspicious? Report it here — we check quickly and suspend if warranted. The reporting form is currently in Romanian; you can also write to us in English at contact@exyqr.ro.
